Overview

Take on the role of a beginner alchemist and embark on a magical adventure in BrewFightShop. Fight against slimes, collect ingredients and become a master of potion brewing. As you progress, you'll become stronger and stronger.

Storyline

You have just graduated from alchemy school and now you have a HUGE student debt. Your only option is to use your newfound knowledge about potions to brew several different concoctions and sell them to pay off your debt.

Gameplay Features

The game is split into three parts:

• Fighting to gather ingredients
• Brewing and discovering new potions
• Sell potions and purchasing upgrades

Genre: Survivor/Topdown-Shooter/Potionmaking
Platform(s): Windows (maybe Mac)

Hint: If you want to have a fun experience, I suggest you download the latest version. The old (first) version is a bit buggy and is missing a lot of the content that the newer version has, but I didn't remove it because that's the version that was submitted for the game-jam.

Graphics & Art Style

Simple but charming pixel art style. (It's nothing to special but it gets the job done.)

Sound & Music

Brewery music: Calm and relaxing piano music
Fight Music: 8-Bit upbeat music SFX: 8-Bit (Retro)

The music and sound effects weren’t made by me but by some amazing people who share their beautiful work online for others to use. I’m really grateful for their generosity!

Are there any plans for the future?

I want to keep improving the game and if all goes well there will be a next version. In the next version I want to add some more SFX for the brewing part and if I have the time I want to add functional potions.
